The Marietta College Vocal Arts Camp is designed to provide significant musical training and experiences for high school aged students interested in the study of singing.  Drawing on the experience of well-recognized faculty members and alumni, this weeklong residential camp immerses students in a wide array of musical opportunities to expand their knowledge of the vocal instrument and its use.


What’s Included:

Activities include daily private voice lessons with college faculty, daily masterclasses with faculty and distinguished guests, chamber ensemble singing, acting and movement workshops, theory and diction training, opera, operetta and musical theatre scene work, and numerous performance opportunities.

How to Apply

To apply, students should submit an application, a letter of recommendation from the student’s private voice teacher or high school director, and an audio or video of one solo selection. Items may be submitted by mail or electronically at music@marietta.edu

Vocal Arts Students must be in the 8th through 11th grade on or before May 1, 2014. All camp participants are selected by application.


$600 (residential)

Includes housing (double occupancy) and meals for the week as well as participation in all camp activities and coursework.

$425 (commuter)

Includes lunches as well as participation in all camp activities and coursework.
